Thoughts on My SilentHex Configuration for BitLocker?

Hey everyone! I've created a set of configurations for what I'm calling the SilentHex Protocol for BitLocker. Here's what I've set up:

1. Network unlock at startup: Disabled
2. Secure Boot for integrity validation: Enabled
3. Additional authentication at startup: Enabled (with specific TPM settings)
4. Standard users can't change PIN/password: Enabled
5. Enhanced pre-boot security measures
6. Encryption configurations and recovery options tailored for added security

This setup mainly relies on a PIN for access, completely foregoing the restoration key option. I'm curious about what you think about this approach. Is there anything I should strengthen or adjust? Would love to hear your insights!

I see where you’re coming from with the name. Since you're setting standards, maybe consider 'Configuration Guide' instead of 'Protocol'? That might align better with what you're doing. And remember, using just a PIN can be risky if someone gets access to it; a multi-layer security approach is usually more effective!

I think you have some good configurations here! Just a couple of things to consider:
1. This isn’t really a protocol but more of a configuration guide for a specific setup.
2. Make sure you clarify what threats you’re aiming to defend against—it helps to have a target in mind.
3. As for the name, 'SilentHex' might already be associated with something else, so you might want to rethink that. Focus on other security components too; BitLocker is just one piece of a larger security puzzle.
