Hey everyone! I have a technical interview coming up for a Senior DevOps position that will last for 90 minutes. It's split into two parts, with 45 minutes dedicated to a coding challenge and the other 45 minutes focusing on DevOps-related questions. The recruiter informed me that they will be using CoderPad for this. I'm looking for advice on a couple of things: 1. Has anyone had an experience using CoderPad for DevOps interviews? Is the platform suitable for this type of interview? 2. In previous interviews, I've mostly encountered easy problems from LeetCode, but I'm curious if anyone has faced medium or hard questions in these interviews. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I prepped extensively for my interview using ChatGPT by asking for medium-level DevOps coding challenges. CoderPad has a 'try it out' feature that mimics the actual environment, which helped me feel more at ease during the interview process.
If they're sticking strictly to coding on CoderPad without a deeper technical conversation, then you might be navigating a tricky path. It's a shame that many interviews have shifted to this format, especially since many of us prefer interactive discussions over coding in an unfamiliar IDE under pressure.
I tackled a Terraform task during my CoderPad interview. Just make sure you're comfortable with whatever tools and languages they might test you on.
Yes, I think you can expect them to ask medium-level data structure and algorithm questions during the coding challenge. It's becoming more common, so definitely prepare for that.

Totally agree! Most interviews nowadays seem to start with these coding tests before even diving into the real meat like systems design, which can feel limiting.
