I've got a 4TB Seagate external hard drive that I was using to upload memories from Snapchat. At one point, it had over 4TB of free space until I noticed I was running out of storage. When I checked what's taking up so much space, I saw that more than 2TB is listed under 'system and reserved' files, which has me really confused and frustrated since I just got this hard drive and it was quite pricey. I even safely ejected it to see if it was a glitch, but that didn't help. I clicked on the 'system and reserved' section, but I couldn't figure out how to address the issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I recommend using the free version of TreeSize to see what's actually occupying all that space. It really helps to identify oversized files and folders, so you can address them accordingly.
Windows can sometimes mismanage space, which is super frustrating. A tool like WinDirStat or TreeSize can give you a clearer picture of where all your space is going on a file level. It's pretty helpful!
You might want to try running a disk cleanup to see if that clears up any excess files. There's a resource that explains it more in-depth which you can check out [here](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/2784019/system-and-reserved-files-are-taking-too-much-spac). Let me know if you've got questions after that!

I looked for the disk cleanup option in properties but I couldn’t find it. What should I do?
