For your software needs, you might want to try alternatives that work great on Linux. For instance, use LibreOffice for document needs, which is free. You can switch to Albert for your launcher instead of Flow Launcher. Obsidian works well on Linux, and for controlling fans, you can check out Cooler Control documentation. For gaming, use ProtonDB to see if your games are compatible with Linux!
And remember, you can also use online versions of Office applications if you really need those.
