I've got a unique situation here: I'm making a move from Webflow, which was built for me by a consultant, to using Lovable for my site's redesign. I'm coming from a backend development background and haven't worked much on UI since the 90s. My site has served me well in converting visitors, but I feel like Webflow has become too complicated for my needs, especially as I believe the world of no-code is shifting towards AI-generated options. The Webflow CMS isn't as flexible or user-friendly as I'd like, and I want better integration for AI compatibility with my content. My plan is to prototype in Lovable, which I've found offers an easier path than Webflow. I'm also considering using an IDE with AI support and GIT for further development. I'd love to know what common pitfalls I might face in this transition. Is the final stretch to production with Lovable going to be too much of a headache? Should I also explore an alternative like Bolt that a colleague suggested?

Sounds like you're making a solid move! I've tried Webflow too, and while it’s great for quick and simple sites, it can really bog you down as you try to scale. Have you considered looking into headless CMS options like Contentful or Strapi? They can decouple your content management from how it’s presented, which might ease some of the pain you’re feeling with Webflow. It gives you a nice backend without those cluttered UI controls! Good luck!
I've also noticed how Webflow overcomplicates things. Decoupling with a headless CMS sounds like a good plan, thanks for pointing that out! I hadn’t considered it before.
