Trouble Accessing My GoDaddy Hosted Site from External Networks

I'm currently facing a weird problem with my GoDaddy shared hosting. My WordPress site suddenly became inaccessible from the public, yet it works just fine when I force it to connect to the server's IP address. I've checked pretty much everything: the domain resolves to the correct IP, but normal access times out, whether I'm testing from different homes, networks, and devices. Even using tools like curl results in timeouts. Only when I force the domain to the IP address does it respond with a 200 OK. I've also checked cPanel, and everything seems operational there.

Support says the site is working on their end and suggested it might be an ISP issue, but I've tested on multiple carriers. This feels more like a routing or infrastructure problem rather than an application issue. Has anyone encountered something similar while using GoDaddy for hosting?

Have you tried accessing the site using the IP instead of the domain name? Sometimes that can give you more clues about what's going wrong.

Honestly, there are tons of complaints about GoDaddy hosting. They have a notorious reputation in the hosting world. Did you do any research before signing up? It might be time to look into a different provider!

I get that this sounds rough, but those experiences can vary. Still, maybe it’s worth considering other options based on what I’m hearing.

It seems like some type of blockage is happening. Have you tested specific ports like 80 and 443? It could be worth checking connectivity on both sides.
