Trouble After Installing a New SSD: Need Help!

Hey everyone, I'm having a ton of issues after switching to a new SSD. My previous SSD failed because the pins were damaged. I have plenty of experience building and programming computers, but this situation has me scratching my head.

I've done a clean install of Windows, which initially worked fine. However, I've been facing a lot of problems since then. The audio only works about half the time, and when it does, videos lag severely. Games run smoothly for about five minutes before they start lagging. Also, my hard drive isn't being detected at all, the RGB lighting isn't functioning, and Bluetooth is completely non-operational.

I've already done the basics, like reinstalling Windows twice and manually installing all the necessary drivers. I've even updated the BIOS. I tried reconnecting my old SSD, but it won't boot at all. I'm at a loss and considering wiping everything to start fresh, again. Any ideas? Here are my specs:
- RTX 5070 PNY
- MSI Gaming Edge Wifi
- 32GB DDR4 RAM @3200MHz
- Ryzen 7 5800X3D
- 500GB external SSD for Windows
- 1TB NVMe SSD for games
- 4TB hard drive for movies/games

Have you tried updating the firmware on your new SSD? Also, how did you transfer your data to the new drive? Sometimes cloning software can cause issues if it wasn't done right. Did you check for any missing drivers that might be needed?

I'll definitely look into the firmware. I did a fresh install instead of cloning over, but I was planning to use software to copy the C drive before my old SSD failed. Thanks for the tip!

Make sure to check the Device Manager first. Are there any devices with exclamation marks or listed as unknown? You need to sort those out before moving on. If Device Manager looks good, try running "sfc /scannow" and "chkdsk /R" to check for any corrupted system files. If that doesn't work, consider testing your RAM with just one stick at a time or using the Microsoft Memory Diagnostics tool. Those steps could really help!

I actually went through all of that already and nothing changed. I think I'm just going to do a complete reset and start over.
