I've been having a really frustrating issue with my Windows 11 PC where I can't switch my default browser back to Bing. I think I might have accidentally got some malware because I've never run into this problem before. I've tried running the Microsoft MRT scan and other malware scans, but nothing changed. Any advice on how to resolve this would be great!

Have you tried checking your browser settings directly? Sometimes just going into the options and re-confirming Bing as your default can kick the hijacker out. If you're having trouble, it could be worth it to do a full scan with a dedicated malware removal tool—those can often catch things that the built-in scans miss.
It sounds like you might be dealing with a browser hijacker. The quickest fix could be to use "System Restore" to roll back your Windows to a previous state before the problem started. Some malware can change settings deep in the system, so this might save you time trying to remove it manually. Also, you might want to try re-adding Bing and removing the Yahoo setting, or editing the Bing address directly. Just be aware that tougher malware can complicate things, so System Restore is often the most reliable first step.
I faced a similar issue, and while I tried a bunch of fixes, the easiest solution for me was to install Guardio. It took a while to figure it out, but this software really helped me get everything back to normal.
