I've been trying to get my Corsair Vengeance 2x16GB 6000MHz RAM to work with XMP settings, but the highest it's booting is 5200MHz. Should I consider returning the RAM, or could there be an issue with my motherboard instead?

Just to share my experience, my 9800X3D could only hit 5600 MHz with a 6000 CL30 kit. I ended up lowering the CAS latency to 26 and called it a day.
You might want to try a different RAM kit or even switch up your CPU. Also, make sure your BIOS is up to date. That can sometimes solve stability issues.
Keep in mind that not every CPU is guaranteed to hit those high speeds. If you're expecting 6000MHz, that's an overclock, and you won't get an RMA just because it doesn't reach those speeds. Updating your BIOS and manually tweaking your settings could help—or just returning the RAM for a different model.
First off, what CPU and motherboard are you using? Also, which RAM slots are your sticks in? Knowing if you have any other modules in there can help figure things out.
