Trouble Getting Display After CPU Upgrade

I recently upgraded my CPU from an AMD A10-8700 to a Ryzen 5 3600 on my A320M-HDV r4.0 motherboard, but I'm having issues because there's no display. I've double-checked a few things: the BIOS version is P7, I've got 16GB of RAM, and I'm using a 500W power supply with a GTX 960 graphics card. The system powers on, but I can't get any image on the screen. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

It sounds like the issue might be related to your BIOS version. After updating to certain BIOS releases, you may lose the ability to use older CPUs. The Ryzen 5 3600 is actually supported starting from BIOS P2.30, so if your version is higher, that's worth checking out.

Make sure you have a dedicated graphics card since the Ryzen 5 3600 lacks integrated graphics. You mentioned having a GTX 960, so that should work fine, but just confirming you're plugged into that and not the motherboard's display ports.
