I got my wife an older gaming PC, and I'm having a tough time getting Windows 10 installed on it. I created a bootable USB with the Windows 10 installer loaded, and that's plugged into the PC. It's set as the first option in the boot order. Both UEFI and legacy support are enabled, and I've turned off secure boot and fast boot. When I try to boot from the USB, it shows the Asus logo and the Windows loading symbol (with the dots circling), but then the Asus logo disappears, and the loading symbol just stays there for hours. I'm not sure what to do next!

Have you tried using Rufus to make the USB bootable? It’s a handy tool for creating bootable USB drives, and it supports different file systems like FAT32. Just make sure it's set correctly, and it should work!
It sounds like the ISO on your USB might not be recognized as bootable. You can fix this by creating a bootable USB using the Microsoft media creation tool. It’s the safest option! You can also consider burning the ISO to a DVD or, if you already have Windows installed on the PC, you could upgrade directly from that ISO via Windows File Explorer. But honestly, the Microsoft tool is the way to go for a fresh install.
I actually used the Microsoft tool to create the USB, so I thought that would work?

The USB is already formatted to FAT32 and shows up in the BIOS boot list, so I'm not sure what's going wrong.
