I'm really struggling here and could use some help. Has anyone tried to buy Microsoft Project (either Standard or Pro) in the last week? Myself, our managed service provider, and even the third-party vendor we usually go to for Microsoft licensing are all hitting roadblocks. We're totally confused because we keep getting notifications saying purchases are on hold or encountering generic errors on the website. It doesn't matter if we try on different computers, none of us can complete the purchase. What's going on?

You can also buy Microsoft Project through the Microsoft 365 website or as part of a Planner package. Sometimes retail stores might have stock too, so that's worth checking out.
If they're not going to sell it to you, it might be better to explore other project management tools while they sort this out. Try using tools like Draw.io or Asana. They have great templates and can integrate with other tools you're using.
Right, totally, it's like comparing pizza to pasta!
Which version of Project are you trying to get? I've heard some versions are reaching their end of life.
If you're a Microsoft 365 customer, try purchasing through that platform. I had a similar experience, and this workaround helped us. Also, double-check if your billing account is all set and up to date.
I think Microsoft might be phasing out these Project products. If you have 365, you should consider using Project for 365 instead.
How is a diagramming tool really comparable to dedicated project management software? Since we stopped using Project, we've switched to tools like Jira and Confluence, which work well.
