I'm having a frustrating issue trying to set up my dual-monitor system with an RTX 4070 Ti Super. The screen lags heavily on both displays, and I can't figure out why. I previously used an RX 6700XT, which managed this setup without any problems.
As a workaround, I tried plugging my second monitor into the motherboard's HDMI port, but there's no display at all. I also attempted using a USB-C to HDMI adapter, but that didn't work either.
For reference, my CPU is a Ryzen 7 7700x and my motherboard is an MSI MPG B650I EDGE WIFI. My main monitor is a Samsung Odyssey G7 LC27G75, and my secondary monitor is a Dell U2422HE.
One more thing: I checked MSI's BIOS but couldn't find an option to enable the iGPU directly. I did try setting the iGPU as the main device once, but it resulted in a black screen, and I had to reset the BIOS to get back to using the dGPU.

Have you checked your current GPU driver version? Occasionally, updating or downgrading can resolve these kinds of display issues. If you're running version 566.36, that could be worth looking into since you mentioned downgrading due to other driver problems.
Make sure you're using high-quality display cables, especially if you're not using DisplayPort. Low-quality HDMI cables can lead to all sorts of problems. It might be worth replacing those if you haven't already.
It sounds like you might be running into conflicts with the G-Sync settings as well. Try toggling it off and see if that helps with the lag you're experiencing.
I had this issue because G-Sync was enabled. Make sure to test with it turned off, as it might help with the lag.
