Hey everyone, I've been facing a frustrating issue with Remote Desktop connections to our Windows Server 2016. Until now, everyone in the office could connect without any problems, but suddenly we're all running into the same error message: "Your computer can't connect to the remote computer because the Connection Broker couldn't validate the settings specified in your RDP file. Contact your network administrator for assistance." I've tried a bunch of solutions I've found online, but nothing has worked so far.
All the remote desktop services on both the server and my remote machine are up and running. I even restarted the Connection Broker service hoping that would help, but it didn't. I've messed with some registry keys and even deleted and recreated a few, but still no luck.
Could this be a firewall issue? We're using Meraki for our firewall setup. I can still access the server via ESXi, but I need the employees to be able to use Remote Desktop. I want to see if anyone here has suggestions before I contact our managed service provider. Let me know if you need more information!

Check the event log when this issue happens. You may find some error messages that can point you in the right direction.
When the error occurs, I'm seeing three errors:
1. 802: RD connection broker failed to process the connection request - farm name in the RDP file can't be found.
2. 1296: Connection Broker Client failed while getting redirection packet - element not found.
3. 1306: Connection Broker Client failed to redirect - NULL error.
