I'm having a tough time accessing the BIOS on my Gigabyte Z390 UD motherboard. No matter how many times I hit the DEL key at boot or try the Windows Advanced Startup options, I just get a straight boot to Windows. The only time I did see a boot menu was when I corrupted Windows and booted from a USB to reinstall.
I'm currently trying to fix the VAN9005 error for Valorant, which requires TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot enabled. My setup includes an Intel CPU with integrated graphics, a dedicated GPU (with HDMI connected to it), and I'm in UEFI mode with Secure Boot turned off and no TPM detected (it says 'no compatible TPM' when I check with `tpm.msc`). I've reset the CMOS battery recently but still can't get into the BIOS - I just see a black screen. I've tried different monitors and HDMI ports, and booting via USB won't work either. Do you think I should take out my GPU and try connecting the monitor directly to the motherboard? Any advice would be really appreciated!

It sounds like your keyboard might be stuck in a USB 3.0 port, which can sometimes interfere with getting into the BIOS. Try plugging it into a USB 2.0 port and see if that helps!
Removing your GPU and plugging the display into the motherboard is definitely a good strategy. It may force the system to display the BIOS screen through the integrated graphics.
When you power up, try continuously hitting the Delete key until it either loads the BIOS or boots into Windows. Also, switching USB ports could help.
I've been doing that for way too long and it's just frustrating. Not sure what else to try!
I did mention trying to access BIOS from advanced startup options, so I doubt it's just the keyboard issue.
