I recently upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 5 3600 to a Ryzen 5 5700X. After installing the new CPU, the PC boots up normally but the monitor shows no signal. I updated my BIOS to the latest version (E7A38AMS.BO0) on my MSI B450M Pro-VDH MAX before the upgrade. When I switch back to my old CPU, everything works fine. One of the pins on the new CPU was bent, but I fixed it. Is the CPU likely faulty or is my BIOS not compatible?

If you managed to straighten the bent pin and it still doesn't display anything, then it might be worth returning the CPU. It could be damaged or incompatible, even if it boots up without showing an image. Double-check that you've got everything seated properly, too!
Make sure you're connected to a dedicated GPU. The Ryzen 5 5700X doesn't have integrated graphics, so if you're not plugged into a dedicated graphics card, you won't get a display.
