Upgrading from an RX480: Need Suggestions for New Parts!

Hey everyone! My RX480 just kicked the bucket after 9 long years of faithful service. I'm looking for some advice on what GPU and other components I should upgrade to. My budget is around £800 GBP and I'm based in the UK, so I prefer trusted retailers like Amazon, Scan, or Overclockers. I'll primarily be using this setup for gaming at mid to high settings for current games, with the goal of playing new titles at least on medium settings for the next few years. I might also dabble in some intermediate level 3D modeling with Zbrush, Max/Maya, and do some video editing in Premiere Pro, plus Photoshop. Aesthetics aren't a priority at this point, and I don't plan on overclocking since I never really use it. I've got a list of my current parts that I've already bought on PCPartPicker, but I'm open to any upgrades, downgrades, or alternative suggestions. I really want to get the most bang for my buck! Thanks in advance!

I think you might be better off with an AMD 9600x build instead of the Intel i5. It could save you some cash and give you a stronger GPU as well. Here’s a link to a build I put together: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/CPFk3w. Check it out!

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll look into that CPU. Do you think there are any downsides to going with a Radeon GPU instead of Nvidia? I've always had the feeling I was missing out on something with my RX480 since everyone else had Nvidia.

It looks like you might have linked the wrong build because that one seems to have all brand new parts. Make sure to include the CPU, GPU, PSU, and MoBo with prices, and show the rest as already purchased. Hope that clarifies things! 😊

Ah, got it! Yeah, I meant to list my existing components and only highlight what I need upgrading. Thanks for pointing that out!
