Upgrading My GPU: Do I Need a 6+2 to 12 Pin Adapter?

I'm in the process of upgrading my graphics card from a 3060 12GB to a 4070 Super. I've just realized that the adapter that came with the 4070 Super has two female connectors, and my PSU is a 'be quiet! Straight Power 11 Gold' that currently has a single 6+2 pin cable connected to the 3060. Do I need an adapter or some other connection to make this work?

Your PSU should have multiple 8 pin PCI-E connectors available. If that’s the case, you can just plug those directly into the adapter that came with the 4070 Super. It shouldn’t be too complicated!

Just a heads up, make sure you check if your PSU has other connectors. You might have more than you realize!
