Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC after using it for 8 years and would love to get your thoughts on my planned build. I have an SSD for the OS, an HDD, and all my peripherals already. Here's the list I've put together:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor - $464.00
- **CPU Cooler**: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition - $25.99
- **Motherboard**: MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI ATX AM5 - $209.99
- **Memory**: Crucial Pro Overclocking 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 - $349.99
- **Storage**: Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB NVMe SSD - $620.66
- **Video Card**: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB - $399.00 (currently out of stock)
- **Power Supply**: Corsair RM750e 750 W Fully Modular - $89.99

Total: $2159.62.

Let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions!

I’d suggest looking at something like the RX 9060XT or a 5060 Ti with 16GB of VRAM. If you're gaming at 1440p or above, 8GB is pretty limiting. Otherwise, for 1080p gaming, it might be sufficient, but you'd get more longevity from the higher VRAM.

The 4060 Ti is a bit of an odd choice there. It seems like they’ve stopped making it, and pairing it with such a powerful CPU feels off. I also think the SSD is a bit overpriced. If budget's a concern, check this alternative build I put together (link included). You'll get a solid setup for around the same price!

A few tweaks could make your build more balanced and save you some cash. Check out this list I made, improving the CPU cooler, SSD, and GPU. You'll get a better setup for less.

Honestly, your CPU is top-notch, but the GPU might hold you back. The 4060 Ti isn’t the newest model and it only has 8GB of VRAM, which is a bit low nowadays for gaming at higher resolutions. If you don’t already own it, consider putting more budget into the GPU instead of the CPU. Also, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 isn’t the best—check out the Thermalright Phantom Spirit if you want a better cooler without breaking the bank.
