Upgrading My PC: Need Help with Water Cooling, Fans, SSD, and RAM

Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my old i5 8600k and I'm planning to switch to an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X paired with an ASUS ROG STRIX B850-A GAMING WIFI motherboard. I'm keeping my RTX 3080 and I'm really drawn to the Lian Li 011 Air Mini case. I could use some guidance on a few things: I'm considering the Arctic Freeze III for water cooling, but I'm unsure if I should go for the 280mm or the 240mm version. Also, which fans should I choose—Arctic or Lian Li? I'd like to add a bit of RGB flair to the build. Lastly, I'd love recommendations for an SSD and RAM. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Since you're in Switzerland, make sure to check local prices for the components too. If you're sticking within 1500-2000 Swiss Francs, you should be fine with those choices. If you can stretch your budget a little, some upgrades in RAM or a slightly more expensive SSD might pay off in the long run!

Yes, and if you keep an eye out for deals, you may even find good discounts on those parts!

Definitely! It's a good idea to wait for sales if possible.

You’ll want to go with the Arctic Freeze III 280 if your case allows it, as it generally provides better cooling. Both Arctic and Lian Li fans are good, but you might find that Lian Li's fans are quieter and have a more premium feel. For SSD, I’d recommend going for a 1TB NVMe M.2 drive for speed, and for RAM, 32GB with at least 3200MHz speed should work great for your setup!

I totally agree on the 1TB NVMe SSD, you won't regret the performance boost!

That's a solid plan! Just make sure to check if the case can fit the 280mm radiator.
