I'm trying to upgrade to Windows 11, but my CPU is the only component holding me back. I've got an AMD FX-6300 Six-Core Processor and an AMD Radeon RX 560 Series graphics card. Should I buy a new motherboard bundle, or would just the CPU be enough? I mainly use my PC for video editing and moderate gaming. Also, I got this setup from Facebook Marketplace, so I'm still figuring things out. Any advice would be great!

You're using DDR3 RAM, so you'll definitely need a new motherboard and switch to DDR4 or even DDR5 RAM to use a newer CPU that's compatible with Windows 11.
Unfortunately, any CPU that fits that socket won't be officially supported for Windows 11. You'll need to replace your CPU, motherboard, and RAM to get a compatible setup.
I added a new comment, could you check that one out? Sorry for the mix-up!
I forgot to mention, I'm considering the AMD Ryzen 7600X paired with the B650 Aorus Elite AX motherboard. Just wanted to throw that in there!
Check out this tool: [WhyNotWin11](https://github.com/rcmaehl/WhyNotWin11). It gives you a detailed rundown on why your current setup can't upgrade to Windows 11 and what changes are necessary.
That's super helpful! I'll run it as soon as I'm home, thanks a ton!

Any recommendations? The board I'm looking at has 4 slots instead of my current 2, so I should be in better shape.
