Hey folks, I'm having a strange issue with my setup. I'm using an Asus PRIME B550-PLUS AC-HES motherboard with an AMD 5600X processor, and I'm currently running BIOS version 3621. The problem is that the CPU temperature shows -1°C in the BIOS, and it keeps displaying a message saying 'new CPU installed' and prompts me to press F1 to set it up every time I boot up. I've saved my configuration, but that message keeps popping up. I managed to disable the F1 prompt, so at least I can boot into Windows without issue. I also noticed that my voltage readings are off and are displayed in red, which makes me wonder if that's related to my CPU issue. Here are the voltage readings I'm seeing:
* CPU Core Voltage: 4.08 V
* +12V: 24.439 V
* +5V: 10.241 V
* +3.3V: 4.08 V
* GPU: 0.812 V

You might want to update your BIOS to the latest beta version, as that could potentially fix the temperature sensor issue. Also, consider replacing the CMOS battery since that could cause similar problems.
It might be a good idea to power down your system, unplug the PSU, and then take a close look at your CPU pins and the socket after you remove the cooler and the CPU. If there's anything unusual with the cooler mount, it’s worth checking out too. The 'New CPU Installed' message shouldn’t come up every boot unless the CPU was pulled out of the socket.
I appreciate the advice! The CPU I have is a replacement from AMD and is technically 'new' since I replaced it, but you make a good point—it should only show that message once.

Thanks for the suggestion! I did swap out the CMOS battery, but unfortunately, that didn't help. The beta version is giving me some compatibility issues, but I’ll give it another shot.
