Hey folks! I'm curious about what accessibility audit tools you all incorporate into your work. Personally, I've been using WAVE so far and have heard awesome things about AXE, especially its guided testing feature. I'm specifically looking for a tool that can export audit results as PDFs, which would make it easier to share findings with non-technical stakeholders or use for compliance purposes. I'd love to hear your recommendations for both automated and manual tools! Thanks!

If PDF exports are a priority for you, take a look at BrowserStack. It’s free for up to 5 different pages, which is pretty useful!
You might want to check out Accessibility Insights! It provides a blend of automated checks and guided manual tests, plus it generates detailed reports. Axe DevTools is also solid; they have a few features that require a subscription though. Just remember that no automated tool can catch every issue, so combining manual and automated testing will give you the best results.
Lighthouse might be what you're looking for! It can generate reports, and here's one I ran recently. Check it out to see how it works – it could fit your needs well.
I’ve been trying out Silktide and Axe recently. They both have a screen reader feature that's quite handy for testing.
I really like using NVDA as a screen reader. It may seem unusual, but taking a bit of time to learn how to operate a screen reader like NVDA can be incredibly insightful. It gives you firsthand experience that no auditing tool can truly replicate.
I've found IBM's Equal Access Checker to be really effective. I've integrated it into our CI pipeline, and it's excellent for tracking accessibility during development.

It's so true! There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube that can help you get started with NVDA.
