What affordable graphics card should I consider for my PC?

I'm on the lookout for a budget-friendly graphics card for my PC setup. My current hardware includes an Nvidia Ryzen 5 3600x CPU (with plans to upgrade to a Ryzen 5 5600x in the near future) and I'll be picking a motherboard based on the GPU I choose. I've got a solid 750w power supply and I'm currently using an Nvidia RTX 1060 that I need to replace. I primarily play games at 1080p and 60Hz, including Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, and Battlefield 6, which has been running into some performance hiccups. Any recommendations for a new or used GPU?

I picked up a used 3060 for around $200 last year and it's been a solid choice. I haven't encountered any performance issues with it so far, even on demanding games.

If you’re looking for something a bit stronger, RTX 3080s are about $300 on swap sites. If that sounds steep, you can get a 2070 Super for nearly half that. For something new, check out the RX 9060 XT priced at $350; it's slightly slower than the 3080, but it has more VRAM and lower power consumption, which balances the performance pretty well.
