I'm looking to upgrade my PC, which is getting pretty old—about ten years now. Currently, I have an Intel i5-4670k, 16GB of DDR3 RAM, and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060. I don't know much about computer hardware, but I understand that I'll need to upgrade my processor and likely get a new motherboard, which probably means I'll have to switch my RAM as well. I'm aiming for something that's not top of the line but is within the last five years' standards. I also want to know if there's a reasonable budget to consider for these upgrades.

First off, what's your budget for the upgrade? That'll really set the stage for what components you can go for.
Alright, that's a decent range. Just keep in mind that a full upgrade like this can add up quickly!

I'm thinking about 250 to 500 dollars, but I can be a bit flexible if needed.
