What are my options for getting temporary Wi-Fi access?

I'm staying in a place temporarily that doesn't have Wi-Fi, and unfortunately, my phone's Wi-Fi isn't strong or affordable enough for my needs. I'm looking for some suggestions on how to get Wi-Fi for a few months at a location I don't own.

Don't forget about your local library! Many libraries in the US have hotspot devices available for checkout, which can be a great way to get online without needing to set up a long-term account.

Yes, great idea for communications. I'm looking for that plus entertainment.

You might want to consider getting a cellular Wi-Fi hotspot. It's a little router that connects to the cellular network, giving you internet access wherever there's signal. It could be a great solution for your temporary situation!

Have you thought about upgrading your mobile plan? Sometimes, an unlimited 5G plan can be cheaper than signing up for a new internet connection, especially if you just need it for a short period.

If the location has an Ethernet connection, you could plug in directly. It's worth checking to see if that's an option, even if it’s a private home!

You can contact local internet service providers. They often offer monthly plans for internet access, just be clear that it's temporary!
