What are some easy photo editors for Linux beginners?

Hey everyone! I've recently switched from Windows to Fedora Workstation about a month ago and I'm looking for a user-friendly photo editor. I'm a complete beginner on Linux and just need something simple for basic tasks like cropping, adding text, simple painting, and maybe some censoring features. I know GIMP is an option, but I'm not ready to dive into that just yet and would like something easier for quick edits. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Honestly, GIMP can still work for quick edits if you just focus on the commands you need. It’s not as daunting as it seems; I use it for simple things like cropping images and adjusting quality.

You might want to check out Darktable. It's a bit more advanced than just basic editing, but it's a solid program for working with images and can be quite intuitive once you get the hang of it.

I played around with Pinta on Windows before, and I found it a bit limited, especially in color selection. I preferred Paint.NET for simplicity, but unfortunately, it’s Windows-only.

Have you tried Pinta? It's quite straightforward for basic tasks. If you're looking for something a bit more powerful, Krita is another option, but it has more features.
