What are some good high-end PC build recommendations for my budget and needs?

Hello everyone! I'm looking for some advice on building a high-end PC in Africa. I've always dreamed of this since I was a kid, and now that I'm ready to take the plunge, I want to make sure I get the best specifications for my needs. I currently use an old Dell Inspiron 15, but I'm aiming for a rig that can handle 4K gaming, 3D modeling, simulation, and rendering in Blender, as well as video editing for work. I also want to experiment with local LLMs and play some titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator, War Thunder, and others. My budget is $6000, including a monitor, but goods are about 20% more expensive here, and I'll be importing parts mostly from South Africa, except for RAM and the motherboard which will come from the States. I've put together a list of components but I'm worried I'm overspending. I'd appreciate any suggestions or advice on the parts I've selected! Thanks!

Your expectations are great, but remember you don't necessarily need a platinum power supply unless you're going for extreme setups. A good gold-rated power supply will work well, and you'll find that you might only need 850W for your entire setup. Plus, you could use less RAM if you're not pushing extreme workloads. A solid 32GB should suffice for most tasks.

I think you're overpaying for some of the parts. The X870 motherboard might have features you don't really need. A B850 board would work just as well. Don't overspend on the fans either; good options exist for less. Your system could be done for less than $6000 if you cut out some of the extras!

Totally agree! Sometimes fewer features save you a lot while still giving you everything you need for your build.

You could definitely cut that price down. I'm running a Ryzen 9 9950X with a pretty cheap cooler that does the job, so you don't need to break the bank there. Instead of the expensive parts you've picked, you could go for a solid B850 motherboard and a good power supply with a long warranty. You can achieve similar performance without spending as much!

I love your specs, but if you're aiming for price-to-performance, consider choosing parts more wisely. Like for the CPU cooler, there are cheaper alternatives that look good without the hefty price tag. And for storage, merging your HDD and SSD into one larger drive might save you more in the long run. There's definitely room to adjust and save some cash!

Hey from the east side! I think your build is impressive! Just don't forget to check alternative sources for parts. Sometimes importing from places like Dubai can get you better prices than the local options. Keep looking for deals; you might find substantial savings there!
