I'm looking for hosting solutions for my edutech app and would prefer options other than Vercel. I have payment integrations in place. Is AWS worth considering or is it too expensive? I've heard it's free for the first year, but I found it to be quite slow. Any suggestions?

You might want to check out Hetzner. They offer VPS options that are pretty solid for what you're looking for.
Honestly, AWS's free tier can be hit or miss. It's good for getting started, but performance might not be the best for your needs.
Cloudflare is also a great choice, along with Netlify and Hostinger if you're looking for alternatives to AWS.
