I've been using Linux for nearly two years and right now I'm running Arch alongside Windows mainly for gaming. With the improvements in gaming on Linux recently, I'm considering fully switching to Linux. I'm eager to make Arch my daily driver, but I'm worried about the potential instability from bleeding edge updates. I've heard about Manjaro, which is Arch-based but supposedly more stable. Are there any other distributions similar to Manjaro that I should consider?

EndeavorOS or CachyOS are two Arch-based distributions that might fit your needs. They come with user-friendly setups and checkpoints to revert to if something goes wrong with an upgrade. I’ve been using CachyOS for a couple of months and haven’t had any issues yet!
Fedora could be a solid choice! It's not too far behind Arch and typically has fewer broken packages. While things can still go wrong occasionally, it happens much less often. Plus, you'll find that both Fedora and Arch are quite flexible with plenty of desktop environment options.
I've been on Fedora for a while, but I’m planning to switch back to Arch. While Fedora is good, I faced issues with updates breaking things quite frequently. Arch only had minor breakages for me, and honestly, you get a similar number of updates with both.
Totally agree! Fedora's not bad, but if you're looking for more control over your setup, Arch tends to be better.

I’ve heard EndeavorOS is basically Arch with a GUI installer, but CachyOS sounds interesting. I might give it a try!
