I'm looking to build a system with a 5080 graphics card and a 9800x3d processor. I found the ASRock Steel Legend SL-1000G 1000W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply, which is rated Tier A on the PSU tier list. However, I'd like to get some recommendations for other options that might be better or more affordable. I'm based in the UK, so any suggestions would be appreciated!

I would recommend the Gigabyte AORUS Elite P1000 1000W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular PSU. It’s on my list and I've heard great things about it. Better efficiency and performance than Gold certified ones. Check it out!

Check out the Montech Century II 1050W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply. It's also rated Tier A and is a solid choice like the ASRock one. Honestly, either option will work great, so you can't really go wrong!

Honestly, a 750W PSU should be enough for that build. I know you're going for the extra headroom, but if you're looking to save some money, it might be worth reconsidering!

Yeah I thought it was overkill, but I was just trying to play it safe!

You might want to consider the Seasonic Focus ATX 3.1, which comes with a 10-year warranty. It’s a reliable choice and definitely worth looking into!
