I've recently switched from Chrome to Brave, but while I've been enjoying it for the most part, I've noticed a bit of unwanted bloat like the cryptocurrency features, which I find annoying. I'm on the lookout for a better Chromium-based browser that doesn't throw that stuff in my face. Here are my requirements: it should be good for web development, available on Windows, macOS, and iOS, sync bookmarks and history across platforms, support multiple profiles, and have better privacy and less bloat than Chrome. Any recommendations?

Vivaldi is a pretty popular choice! I've been using it on both mobile and desktop for some time now and I really enjoy the experience. It does have some configuration options that can help you get rid of features you might find unnecessary, so it's definitely worth a shot if you're looking to switch.
Arc was cool for a bit, but it seems like it’s winding down now. Zen is a good open-source alternative that serves as a solid clone, worth checking out!
If you want something less mainstream, check out Ula from Zoho. It’s a relatively new entry but it has some nice features and a focus on user privacy.
Why not give Chromium itself a shot? It's a clean alternative without all the Google fluff. I switched to ungoogled Chromium recently for better privacy, but some sites may not work unless you allow tracking. Just keep in mind, it's a bit more hands-on since you have to update it manually and might have to deal with some extensions differently.
Yeah, but I'd hate to have to build it myself or manage updates on mobile.
Microsoft Edge has actually been my go-to lately. It has features like vertical tabs and Edge Apps that let you save websites as apps directly. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I do, but it’s been working great for my needs!
Edge is surprisingly balanced for a Chromium browser. Just hope they don't overdo it with AI features!
