What Are the Best CPU and Motherboard Options for a Stable System?

I've been dealing with some serious stability issues with my recent PC build, including POST failures, restarts, and BIOS freezes. After trying some troubleshooting with different setups, I'm looking to replace my current parts for something more reliable. Here's what I have:

- CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X
- GPU: Rx 9070 XT
- Motherboard: Asrock B850m-X wifi r.2.0
- RAM: Single stick of 16GB DDR5

I've tested my GPU and know it works fine, but I suspect bad RAM or motherboard since the problems persist even when trying another motherboard model (MSI B850). I've already stress tested the CPU and RAM with no issues. I'm in the refund window, and I'd like recommendations for a new CPU and motherboard setup, preferably Intel this time. Any ideas?

Don't forget to check your power supply! A lot of stability issues can stem from an underpowered or failing PSU. You mentioned you have a Gigabyte 80 Plus Gold UD750W, which should be good, but it's worth double-checking or testing with another PSU if you can.

Good point! I’ll look into that too. Thanks for the heads up!

It sounds like you might be dealing with RAM-related issues. Before making any big changes, try testing your RAM with a known good kit. Make sure you load the EXPO/XMP profile so that it's running at the speed it's supposed to. Sometimes default settings can cause issues when overclocking.

I actually tried a different RAM kit from a friend, both in single and dual channel configurations, but I'm still having issues. It's frustrating!

If you've ruled out the RAM, you might want to try swapping out the CPU. It's the one component you haven't tested yet. But if you're looking to replace everything for peace of mind, I'd suggest going with an Intel i7 or i5 paired with a solid motherboard from ASUS or MSI.

That's honestly the only thing I haven't tested. I'm definitely ready to replace everything for some stability. Any specific Intel model you'd recommend?
