I'm looking to switch from the default 'Consolas' font in Visual Studio Code to something that really stands out and is more readable. I've seen some fonts online that caught my eye, but I can't remember their names. What fonts do you all use and recommend for coding in VSC? Any suggestions based on legibility and style?

I really like Hack and Inconsolata from Nerd Fonts. They look clean and professional. Plus, for a bit of nostalgia, I still enjoy Ubuntu Mono! It brings back memories.

I switched everything to JetBrains Mono, and they even have a Nerd Font version. It's super nice and just looks good to me!

Have you tried FuraCode NF? It's a really cool variant of Fira Code that adds some extra features.

Fira Code is my favorite, especially with ligatures turned on! It makes coding a lot more enjoyable and the style is just great. You can check it out on GitHub if you're interested: [GitHub - tonsky/FiraCode](https://github.com/tonsky/FiraCode).
