Hey everyone, I'm diving into web development with a Laravel project and this is my first time deploying something online. I'm on the lookout for a reliable web hosting service that plays nicely with Laravel, as well as some affordable options for buying domain names. Since I'm new to all this, I would really appreciate any recommendations or advice on beginner-friendly platforms that won't break the bank. Thanks a lot in advance!

I personally use a VPS to host my Laravel projects, and it's pretty affordable. I recommend it if you're comfortable managing your server. Plus, I got my domain through the same provider. For deployment, I use Dokploy. It's great for those who have used PaaS platforms like Vercel or Render; it's a self-hosted option that makes management pretty smooth.
Check out Cloudflare for domains; they sell them at cost with no markup, so you won't get hit with crazy renewal prices like some places (I'm looking at you, GoDaddy!).

Totally agree! I got a VPS too, and it's been a game changer for my projects. Dokploy has made the whole process so much easier and user-friendly.
