I'm looking for suggestions on Linux distributions for my older Dell Inspiron N5110 laptop. It has 4 GB of RAM, a 300 GB HDD, an Intel i3 2nd generation processor, and Intel HD 3000 graphics. I'm currently using Linux Mint with the Cinnamon desktop, but it's not really doing it for me. Any recommendations for distros that would work well for daily use on this laptop?

I recommend giving Kubuntu a try. It has a user-friendly interface and tends to perform well on older hardware. I've installed it on my devices and it just works without any fuss!
Choosing the best distro really depends on personal preferences. Since you're not a fan of Mint, you might want to check out Xubuntu or Lubuntu. They’re lightweight and should run smoothly on your hardware. Plus, they both have great communities for support!
