I'm looking for advice on the best way to set up scan to email functionality for my Epson WF-7845 printer, which doesn't support Microsoft 365 authentication natively. I'm hesitant to disable any security settings on accounts due to the associated risks. I've thought about using SendGrid for this, but I wonder if there are better options out there. What are others using in similar situations?

You can consider using a third-party SMTP service, like SMTP2GO, which many people find simple to set up and maintain. It integrates well with various printers and keeps everything secure without too much hassle.
Sounds like a solid choice. I've used it before and had no issues.
Setting up an SMTP connector in Microsoft 365 with your office’s IP address whitelisted is another reliable option. This would allow your printer to send emails without the need for complex third-party services.
Is there a detailed guide on how to set this up? That would be super helpful!

Thanks for the recommendation! I'll check that out.
