Hey everyone! I've been working with AWS networking services for a couple of years now, and I'm looking to branch out into the Kubernetes space. I'm interested in learning about ECS and EKS on AWS as I've noticed more job opportunities in DevOps related to these technologies compared to networking. If I'm mistaken, feel free to let me know! I'm hoping to find solid resources that can help me get started and ultimately land a DevOps role. Appreciate any recommendations!

If EKS is your focus, I recommend the EKS path on AWS SkillBuilder. It's specifically tailored to help you prepare for your knowledge badge and get a solid foundation in EKS. You can find it [here](https://skillbuilder.aws/learning-plan/FRN6Z7KMRY/amazon-eks--knowledge-badge-readiness-path/393YRXJZWC).

For ECS, you can also take a look at the SkillBuilder learning path. They have a specific section dedicated to ECS that can really boost your understanding: [here](https://skillbuilder.aws/learning-plan/BDJU9EAPJK/amazon-ecs--knowledge-badge-readiness-path/Q2R57WU6TT).

Since you’re looking at Kubernetes, just a heads up - EKS is the way to go. ECS is designed for its own orchestration and isn’t really for Kubernetes. Focus on EKS if that's your end goal!

That’s a great point! EKS really aligns more closely with Kubernetes practices.

One of the best ways to learn is by doing. Check out AWS Workshops for practical, hands-on experience. They're really helpful in understanding how things work in a real-world context!

If you're already familiar with basic DevOps concepts, KodeKloud offers excellent courses on both EKS and Kubernetes. They do a fantastic job of breaking everything down for beginners!
