I've been dealing with coil whine on my GPU (a 6650 XT) for the past year. I've tried undervolting it and capping FPS to 60 in every game, but the whine still persists. Some games seem to trigger it worse than others. Does anyone have tips or fixes that have worked for them?

I have a 6900 XT, and when the FPS goes over 100 and power usage hits 200W, the whine can get pretty loud. I usually cap my frame rate at 60 with RTSS, and that makes it barely noticeable. Undervolting helped lessen it even more.
My 2070 Super had coil whine, but after about a month, it just stopped. I've heard that running high loads can help settle the coils, but after a year mine is still the same.
I've heard that too, but it didn't work for me either. Mine is as whiny as ever!
Honestly, the best fix I've found is just to use headphones. It really helps to drown out the noise!
That's true until you take them off, then it's back to the whine!
I did something similar with mine. It used to whine just from moving the mouse!
