I'm looking for advice on using an LG TV as a third monitor for a client. We've tried the built-in Miracast feature in Windows, but the video compression and artifacts made it unusable, despite optimizing the power settings and connecting to the 5GHz network. The client really prefers a wireless solution, but I'm not well-versed in wireless HDMI transmitters and other alternatives. Does anyone have experience with these devices or recommendations for effective wireless display options? Thanks!

Honestly, this seems like a budget issue. A proper HDMI over wireless solution is going to cost more, with adapters needed at both ends. If Miracast isn't cutting it, investing in something better might be the way to go.
I recommend getting an external Miracast dongle, like the j5 create. In my experience, they offer a much better performance than built-in TV Miracast solutions.
Totally agree! We've had similar experiences; external dongles like Miracast Ultras work great for us.
Try a Barco Clickshare. They’re affordable and user-friendly. Just plug in the USB dongle, and with a push of a button, you can start sharing your screen easily. There's even an option for sharing individual apps if needed, but most people don't bother.
Have you thought about using a Google TV device? You can cast directly from Chrome, which might simplify things.
We've used some wireless HDMI dongles, mainly from Digitus. They give decent quality, but keep in mind they only support up to 1080p, not 4K.

That's exactly why I'm asking here; I'm aware of the options but looking for real user experiences to guide the decision.
