Hey everyone! I'm curious about what the minimum specifications are for running Red Dead Redemption 2 on a PC, especially if I want to use mods. I've never built a PC before, so I'm a bit lost about where to start. I just want to enjoy the games I love without needing super high-end hardware, so any insights would be great!

Any modern PC should be able to handle Red Dead Redemption 2. Even a basic card like a 5050 can get you playable frame rates, although I wouldn’t recommend going that low. The minimum specs are pretty outdated now, so it’s hard to find those old parts new anyway.
Bro, the 5050 should run RDR2 just fine. The game came out on consoles like the Xbox One and PS4, and the 5050 is way faster than those!
At this point, RDR2 is pretty old news. It can even run on integrated graphics like Intel Iris. I wouldn’t recommend it for a great experience, though, haha.
You can check Steam for the official requirements since they have the most updated info. It’s super easy to pull up the specs right there!
Sick, I had no idea! I’ve never even been on Steam before, so thanks for the tip!

Okay okay, nice! Would it be reasonable to build a decent PC for under a grand? I’m just figuring out my budget and how much this will all cost!
