What are the risks of using a cheap Windows 11 Volume or KMS key?

I recently bought a Windows 11 key for just $11 on Amazon, and while the seller seemed reliable with good reviews, I'm a bit concerned about the legitimacy of it. From what I've gathered, there are three types of licenses: Retail, OEM, and Volume/KMS. I'm unsure about the risks associated with using a Volume or KMS key. Some people mentioned that it might send my PC data to a third party, while others said it won't activate unless connected to the organization's network. Should I really be worried about this, or is it safe to use? Any insights would be appreciated!

The key will either activate Windows or it won't. If it's a Volume or KMS key, just keep in mind that it could be risky if the activation server is inaccessible later on. If it works, cool, but be prepared for it to potentially deactivate down the line.
