What Are the Specs Needed for Xbox 360 Emulation in My Arcade Cabinet?

I'm working on an arcade cabinet project with a friend and I'm considering how to set up Xbox 360 emulation along with running PC games through Steam. I'm trying to avoid using something like a Raspberry Pi due to the performance issues. I'm also thinking about adding some wired controllers for a better gaming experience. I'm aiming for a 1080p 60Hz display, and it would be great if I could get the games running smoothly at their native performance at either 1080p or 720p for particularly demanding titles like Red Dead Redemption. Here are the specs I have in mind with some parts I already own: Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB DDR4 3200 RAM, a random AM4 motherboard, and a GTX 1070. Can anyone tell me if these components will be sufficient for emulating Xbox 360 games?

You should be in a pretty good spot with those specs! The Ryzen 5 3600 and GTX 1070 can handle Xbox 360 emulation quite well, especially since you're aiming for 1080p. The only thing to keep an eye on might be thermal performance when you're pushing for those higher settings. If you have good airflow in your cabinet, you should be fine!

Yeah, I agree! I've seen the 1070 work wonders for emulation. Just remember to tweak the settings in your emulator for optimal performance.
