Hey everyone! I'm curious about AWS Managed Services (AMS) and would like to hear your thoughts. Do you think it's safe to work in AMS regarding job security? Any insights would be appreciated! Thanks!

Honestly, AWS doesn't seem like a place for job security. Many organizations have a tendency to stack rank, and if you don’t show improvement in a few years, you could end up on a performance improvement plan. It’s tough out there, and no tech job is really secure these days.
It really depends on the specific role you're talking about. Some positions might have more stability than others.
Nothing in tech is ever truly secure, and I'd say positions at Amazon might be among the least secure. It's not a terrible place to work, but if security is your main concern, you might want to consider jobs in more stable environments, like banking.

What about a Delivery Manager role? Is that seen as more secure?
