I'm looking for feedback on Scale as a potential replacement for HP Simplivity and VMware. Has anyone had experience with it? How does it stack up in terms of performance, support, and ease of use? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I miss the old Simplivity before HP took over; it was such an incredible technology!
I've had a different experience and would suggest looking into other options. We ended up removing Scale because the performance was really lacking, and it didn't scale well for us at all. They might have improved since then, but I’d recommend checking out alternatives like Harvester, Proxmox, or sticking with native KVM.
I've been using Scale for about a year and a half, and I must say I'm quite impressed. I've replaced a VXrail and a single ESXi server with two 3-node Scale clusters. The upgrades are a lot easier now, and their support has been fantastic!
My experience is a bit dated, but I remember we installed several Scale nodes in a facility in the Dominican Republic for VMs. It was pretty solid overall. There was a time when we lost a whole node and another node lost a drive simultaneously, but everything kept operating without any user downtime. Very impressive, in my opinion.
