I'm really frustrated with Rubrik right now. I've been dealing with a lot of errors and bugs that just won't quit. While their support team is fantastic and always ready to help, the product itself is really lacking for me. I'm considering switching to another backup solution since this has been a persistent issue. What other backup solutions are people using successfully?

If you've got Windows systems in the mix, I’d like to offer you an extended FOC trial of our product!
I’ve had a rough time with Rubrik too. Sometimes I had to escalate issues up to their C-suite to get answers, which is frustrating. We're not fully ready to switch yet, but it’s been a close call.
If budget isn't a big concern, Commvault is fantastic, though it can be a bit complex.
Honestly, I really like Rubrik. It's been the best option for me compared to the others. If you're running into errors, you might want to dive deeper into what’s causing them. A good support team can really help sort those out quickly!
Good question! It's important we know the environment to help better!
I've had Rubrik for about 2.5 years, and it’s been amazing! The few bugs I've encountered were minor and quickly fixed. What kind of workloads are you backing up? Maybe there's something specific going wrong in your setup?
Throughout my career, I've used a ton of different backup products, but Rubrik is the one I genuinely enjoy using. I've only hit a few bugs, and support was quick to resolve them. It’s a breath of fresh air compared to other vendors!
Same! Pure and Rubrik are just solid. They really make my job easier.
Have you checked out WholesaleBackup? They offer US-based support and self-hosting options, which might help with your issues.
Veeam is where it's at—solid performance all around!
Couldn’t agree more! It just works.
I've tried a bunch of backup solutions over the years like Commvault, Veeam, and Backup Exec, but for me, Rubrik has stood out as the best. Sure, it can be complex at times, especially if you need advanced features, but I've had good experiences with their support whenever I've run into issues. Just a thought—maybe your implementation could use some tweaking rather than a full product swap?
Absolutely! When things go wrong, it often comes down to how things are set up. Rubrik is a strong contender if configured correctly.
I've had my share of bugs too, though—like those zombie bolt instances! Some serious fixes are definitely needed.
Veeam has worked well for me, too. Simple and effective. I think switching just because of some issues might not be necessary unless pricing gets crazy like VMware’s.
We use Cohesity for backing up our production VMs and SQL DBs, and it’s been great! Have you considered it?

Yeah, our issues were resolved pretty fast by support, too. What kind of hypervisor are you using?
