I'm looking to swap out our old Cisco 4321 branch routers. Our typical setup has around 50 devices, and I'm primarily interested in a router that supports 5G backup. I've been considering the Meraki MX67W, but I noticed it's only LTE. Has anyone else made a switch? What router did you end up going with? We're not looking for anything too advanced since we're just running switched ethernet from the provider. The main goal of the router is to segregate traffic, and I do need the wireless connection to support VPN, which I believe is pretty standard these days. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Totally get where you're coming from. We’re testing a Peplink unit in our lab right now. I thought it might be a good fit for your needs, especially if you're looking for something with 5G support! It's worth checking out.
I've had really good luck with the Linksys WRT54G! It's a classic but does the job well enough for basic setups. Most of our clients just grab whatever's on sale at Best Buy, to be honest. It's reliable and works well for keeping it simple.
I just wanted to mention that if you're looking at the Meraki options, go for the MX67C if you're going that route, or the CW model if you prefer built-in wireless. If you have separate wireless APs, definitely skip the W model since it won't work well with those setups. If you want 5G, consider using a dedicated 5G modem connected to WAN2 on your firewall for failover. For integrated options, Cradlepoint and Peplink are solid choices since they focus on WWAN integration.
