I've been hearing a loud noise coming from my RTX 5070 GPU for about a week now, and it's really hard to focus with it in the background. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this?

Have you listened to examples of coil whine online? It often sounds similar. If it’s loud like that, it could definitely be that—just a normal byproduct of the GPU's performance.

If you're concerned about the noise, could you provide a video or link to something similar? That could help in figuring out if there's a bigger issue!

It sounds like you might be experiencing coil whine, which is pretty common with GPUs. It's usually not harmful, just annoying. You could try using headphones to help drown it out a bit.

Just a heads up: if you were talking about the noise in your original post, it didn’t come through clearly. Making a recording might help get more targeted advice.
