What CPU Should I Choose for a Build That Doesn’t Support Copilot?

I'm looking to build a new PC and want to know which CPUs are the latest but aren't compatible with Copilot or the Recall feature. Currently, I'm using an i9 9900k, but I prefer hardware that won't run these features due to security concerns.

Honestly, you could just disable these features. I'm not sure why you’d need a CPU that outright doesn’t support them if you can manage it through settings.

I doubt you can completely remove Copilot. Plus, I'm not too confident that MS would keep it off if they had a newer update that enabled it.

You actually don't need to buy a new CPU just to disable Copilot; you can uninstall it from the settings. But if you're really concerned about it, I get wanting hardware that won't support it at all.

Yeah, I know about uninstalling, but I'd rather avoid future headaches with Microsoft accidentally enabling it again.

If you're really worried about security, consider switching to Linux. It doesn't have these features, and you might find it suits your needs better.
