Hey everyone! I'm trying to figure out how many frames per second (FPS) I should expect while playing Fortnite with my current laptop setup. Here are my specs:
- Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-12450H (8-Core up to 4.40 GHz)
- GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4050 Laptop (6GB GDDR6 VRAM)
- RAM: 16 GB DDR4-3200 (2x 8 GB Dual-Channel)
- SSD: Crucial T500 2TB (PCle Gen4 NVMe M.2)
- Power Supply: 180 Watt
Any insights would be super helpful! Thanks!

If you're playing on low settings at 1080p, you can probably expect around 200 FPS. That’s pretty solid! I’ve seen decent performance on similar setups.
Honestly, with a 180W power supply, I wouldn't be too sure about getting maximum performance. That’s on the lower end, especially for gaming laptops.
Yeah, but keep in mind it's a laptop. Not every one can handle a 230W power brick!
What do you mean by that? Aren’t they all supposed to handle similar power?
Given your specs, I think you'll get pretty good performance. But remember, a lot depends on your settings and the optimization of the game itself.
I generally get about 100 FPS on performance mode, so it varies a bit depending on the setup.
